Cultivation area: Arma Thebes
Altitude: 250 meters
Soil composition: The soil is rich in calcium carbonate, rich in potassium and moderately alkaline.
Viticulture: Organic cultivation with low yield per acre, ensuring high concentration and intensity of aromas.
Variety: Merlot
Vinification & Aging: Classic red vinification with 15 days maceration. Aging in stainless steel tanks and then in new 300 & 500 L French oak barrels for 10 months.
Aging Potential: 10-12 years.
Organoleptic Characteristics: Deep, dense purple color. The nose reveals ripe black fruits, dried plum, notes of cocoa, tobacco and vanilla, with a subtle background of sweet spices.
Food Pairings: Served at 18°C. Αccompanies with oven-roasted lamb with herbs, duck with red fruit sauce, mushroom risotto with aged parmesan or mature, hard cheeses.
